We give women and children a fair chance at life

Our Focus points

Zero hunger & clean water

At Help for Women Foundation, we believe that no human being should struggle with hunger or lack access to clean water. Aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, we are committed to addressing Zero Hunger (SDG 2) and Clean Water (SDG 6) in vulnerable communities in Ghana.

Quality Education

In 2023, we laid the foundation for our first school in Gomoa Fetteh. Now we’re aiming for a 12-classroom building where children from the most underserved communities can learn, grow, and dream. More than just a school, it’s a place of restoration and dignity. Here, children are not only taught reading and writing, but are also given life skills which will prepare them for the future ahead.

Creating Employment

We believe true empowerment begins with opportunity. That’s why we invest in creating employment for women who have the potential, but not yet the platform. We also organise yearly events, giving them the tools to succeed in everyday life, health and finances.

Project Eden

In 2022, Help for Women purchased its first piece of land with a clear mission: to create Eden, a self-sufficient community that offers education, employment, agriculture, and social housing. We are now in the process of completing the purchase of our second plot of land.

On our first compound, we envisioned building the essentials that would uplift and restore the local community. Our plans include a 12-classroom school (we currently have 5 classrooms), a multifunctional center for gatherings and vocational training, a library and playground for children’s recreation, and an area dedicated to agriculture.

This is a place where children from the most vulnerable communities in Kasoa can access quality education and where women are empowered to become self-sufficient and thrive.

Partner in our current project

Project Eden consists of two compounds: Compound 1 and Compound 2. The latter is still in the process of being purchased. All projects for women will take place on Compound 2 once it is acquired.

The following activities will take place on Compound 1:

Compound 1:

  • Multifunctional building
with a conference room for 200+ women/children and working places
  • A schoolbuilding with 12 classrooms
  • Playground
  • Library
  • Waterproject
supplying clean water weekly to all the families in Gomoa Fetteh

Our current project is the multifunctional building. We began this project with the vision of bringing celebration, joy, and laughter to a neighborhood all too familiar with lack, pain, and suffering. Through this space, we will host monthly activities for both young and old, creating moments of community and hope. The building will also provide two additional classrooms, bringing us closer to our goal of twelve. Beyond education, it will serve as a venue for discipleship, women’s empowerment events, and community gatherings. Partner with us to bring light to a dark community.

Partnership with D.L Hospital and Fertility Center

Starting September 2nd, 2025, we are launching a Partnership with D.L Hospital and Fertility Center. They will open a clinic near our compound, providing accessible healthcare for our community. All our students, their parents, and anyone who visits our project will receive a 40% discount on any treatment, along with a free health scan. Through this partnership, we aim to further improve the health and wellbeing of the people in our community.

Our Works

Project Accra.

Project Accra operates within Kasoa, an underprivileged neighborhood situated in the Greater Accra Region. Our initiative involves the construction of a facility center dedicated to providing support for young abandoned women. Our goal is to offer them a nurturing home, a promising future, and the necessary resources to attain self-sufficiency.

Our Works

Project Shaddai.

Project Shaddai represents our initiative dedicated to supporting children in the Kasoa communities. We build schools within these communities, aiming to make a lasting investment in the well-being of the children. We do this by going further than traditional education; we ensure that every child is acknowledged and valued.
